Sanders Colonial Bumpy Cake

**Due to the fragile nature of our Bumpy Cakes, they are only shipped during the fall and winter months to ensure the greatest quality and freshness.

Since 1875, the Sanders tradition continues today with the same commitment to quality ingredients.

Had the cake sent to Florida for a birthday April 23, 2014
Reviewer: Jan Webster from Hobe Sound, Florida
Excellent cake - wish it was available in the 2 layer cake - same with the devels food bumpy cake.  Wish it wasn't so expensive to deliver, but i see the reason why.

Vanilla buttercream bumpy cake is the best. Our family has eaten the chocolate bumpy cake for birthdays for many years. Now we will be eating vanilla. Thanks

Frosting stuck to box top March 12, 2014
Reviewer: Kathleen McQuillen from Westland, MI United States
The frosting was stuck to the box top and there were crumbs from a chocolate bumpy cake all over the bottom of the box! Also the frosting has changed was way to sugary. I still have the REAL ORIGINAL recipe for the frosting... OH and the cake was STALE!

Yellow buttercream colonial cake February 15, 2014
Reviewer: Bob Smith from Kentucky
I lived in Detroit, Michigan prior to 1972 and remember getting a cake, I think it was called yellow buttercream colonial cake.  Does Sanders still have this cake?  Is it the same thing as the colonial bumpy cake?

Fred Sanders took his recipe to the grave. No better than any other yellow cake.
